WE'RE MOVING!!!

Hi everybody! No, the house didn't sell. The kids and I went to Wyoming this last week for potato harvest. A funny thing happened two days before we left. I was getting ready to go to the temple for a ward chapel session and I received a phone call. I didn't answer it because I didn't hear it ring, but later, right before I left, I had a friend call me to give me a heads up on the phone call (they had contacted her to get our phone number). When I listened to the message, it was one of my former preschooler's grandma. She had just sold their family's huge home here in town and are wanting to build another huge home on their farm. They won't be able to start building until spring, so they need a place to rent for a while. Obviously, renting our home was NOT AN OPTION! You know how renters are!!! I called her on the way to the temple and told her I didn't think we would rent. I did tell her that we would think about it and get back to her. I then called Shane and he said to pray about it. I was definitely going to the right place to ponder big decisions. HELLO! I think our prayers have been answered. This was not the answer I was expecting, but prayers are often answered this way. This lady's home is immaculate in and out. She also had said that we could keep our home on the market and she would keep it up to show. If it sold, she would move. I think she'll keep it cleaner than I do! After our prayers being answered and much discussion with Shane, I called her back and it's all a go!! When we went to Wy. this last week, we found a four bedroom home for rent in a nice neighborhood. We've heard that the ward is great too, so we are excited. I also registered the kids in their schools and they are way excited, and a little nervous says Tay. I hope all works out, but for now, I need to pack. We will be out on the 11th of October-yes, Brennen's baptism day. We felt we would have all of our family here on that weekend to help. We'll see how it all goes. I probably won't post much because I will be busy packing. I didn't take many pictures this weekend, so I'll take some and post them later. Love you all and thank you for your prayers! I know that there is power in prayer.

Kellie, I just found that conference packet online in some random place after googling it. But you can print it off of the one on my site. Congrats on the move. What a wonderful blessing for your family. Also, are you selling scentcy candles? I was wanting to order some so I will order from you if you are selling them. Let me know.

I'm so excited for you! Sad that my friend won't be right down the street, but so excited. Now you'll be together! Are you going to have the kids go to one last day of school or just have them go there? If you need me to I can get their stuff from the school & send it to you, or whatever. Good luck! Let me know what you need.

Wow, what a great prayer answering story. It reminds me that our Heavenly Father works on his time schedule and not ours, but if we continue to be patience and prayerful we will be blessed. I know I have to be patience with your big move. I know the Lord wants us to prepare for it but we still haven't got any word from Belgium and it is getting closer to winter. Your story helps me remember to have faith and things will work out. I am glad you found someone to take care of your home. It is great to hear that you can be together as a family again. Good luck with everything.
