Our Preemie is Ten Today!
Ten years ago today, Taylor Brooke was born at 10:03 am. She weighed TWO pounds, SIX ounces. I had extreme pre-eclamsia and was rushed in for an emergency c-section nearly losing my own life. In this picture, you can see Shane's wedding band by Taylor's hand. It could fit all the way up her arms and her legs as well to give you an idea of how small she was. Taylor was a miracle baby. She was only on the ventillator for about a day and a half. She breathed on her own at first but then needed that extra help. Tay stayed in the hospital for a month and a half and came home in the three pound range. Taylor has always had a sweet spirit. She is amazing to her dad and I. We call her our little mommy because she is so good to her little brothers. She has no effects of being a preemie and today is a bright, beautiful light in our lives. We love you Tay-Happy Tenth Birthday!!!!

wow! what a tiny baby! I knew she was a preemie, but I don't think I knew how small she was. Glad she grew into a healthy beautiful girl! Happy Birthday. Oh, and to answer you ? on our blog, yes we know the Wadsworth. They are in our ward. They are such a fun family.
How FUN! Sometimes I forget about the rough start you had as a first time mother. I bet that was soooo scary. She is a beautiful girl and I am so glad we get to see her often!
Toxemia is not fun! I had it with Conner too! I can't believe how tiny she was. I thought Conner was little weighing 4 pounds 15 ounces, but she was super tiny! She is a beautiful girl! Maybe if we play our cards right we could set her and Conner up when they are old enough to date! haha!
What a beautiful girl! How fun to see the pictures of her now and then. You have such a wonderful family. Taylor was so tiny It is an amazing miracle to see how well she has done.
